I cannot begin this blog with first giving thanks to God for showing us what true Love really is: giving up His one and only Son for us.
I've been thinking of what to write on my first blog post. And I woke up this morning with the thought of it:
This is the beginning of the this blog.
The beginning of everything: God's love for us.
This morning's alarm was beautiful. I heard a song on 91.9FM that really just woke my heart up. The song was called "Give Me Your Eyes" by Brandon Heath and the lyrics went something like this:
Give me your eyes for just one second
Give me your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missing
Give me your love for humanity
Give me your arms for the broken hearted
The ones that are far beyond my reach
Give me your heart for the once forgotten
Give me your eyes so I can see
I swear I never thought that I was wrong

To see the way you see the people all alone
