I've never wanted to grow older. I really wish I could freeze time and live this moment forever. I love my life as it is now and I'm thankful God has given it to me.
"What's the worst that could happen?" She meant it as a rhetorical question.
"Getting older," I answered anyway, and my voice was not as steady as I wanted it to be.
